“I so wanted to give a five star review because the staff was so very nice and helpful. The lady at front desk was so sweet and the ladies working breakfast were very pleasant and helpful. However, we were there all weekend and planned to watch college football and the NFL games but they let subscription run out and no network channels were available. “Never got to a room! Front desk was empty for 15 minutes. We left and went to another hotel!”

“The castle was perfect! My son was getting married and the groomsmen and their ladies all spent the weekend there. The bridal party took their wedding photos there. Amazing place! Very fun! Property is lovely!”

“The house it self was great! Great location, clean with decent size rooms. But the beds were too soft and didn’t provide neck or back support. And the bathroom in the closet isn’t very functional. Everyone in our family is tall and there was no leg room. The hosts were great with communication and gave clear instructions.”

“The downtown Alton location is cozy, quiet, and comfy. It is just a few blocks from excellent food and shops on the riverfront. The apartment is cozy and we cooked a meal there every day over the week stay. Love the bathroom!”

“Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back.”
